Meet Zhandulat Gabpassov

Zhan spent five years working as a painter before he ever owned a company. He learned the trade from the ground up, which means he knows exactly what good prep looks like, why certain paints fail, and what separates a lasting finish from one that fails in two seasons.

He built and sold a transportation company and later worked in insurance, where he learned that clear communication and honest pricing are what clients remember most. He brought that standard into every aspect of Color Cat Painting LLC.

In 2023, he brought all of that together and opened Color Cat Painting LLC with his business partner Serhii. His goal was simple: build the kind of painting company he would have wanted to hire.

Our Mission

We exist to give homeowners and businesses in the Pacific Northwest a painting contractor they can trust completely. We combine hands-on trade experience with honest communication, structured processes, and a genuine commitment to quality.

Every project we take on, from a single room to a full commercial exterior, is treated with the same standard of care. Our mission is to deliver a finished result you are proud of and a process you would recommend to your neighbors.
